About Me

AND that’s enough of talking about myself in third person…

My journey in photography began in high school, taking photos and developing them for our yearbook.  Yes, I said developing… did I just date myself a bit there? I then continued my post secondary education and became a Paramedic, because clearly the two are closely related.  However, everything happens for a reason.  It was during those first few years filled with sirens that I laid eyes on a handsome new hire that would become my husband.

Fast forward a few years, and we are now happily living in Orangeville with our energy filled little boy and a rambunctious trouble making pooch.  Trying to balance a family life with two sleep deprived shift workers proved to be a bit challenging, so it was back to school for me to rediscover my first love of photography.

Photography has become my passion and will undoubtably be the thing that drives me crazy one day.  I strive to capture your character, your relationships and who you really want to be.  I wrestle with every image I shoot and try to reach perfection.  Yes, I realize nothing is perfect, but this fuels my desire to grow.

In my spare time, I try to get the most out of life: traveling with my family, trying new things and feeding my fitness addiction by training in martial arts.  I feel life is a constant journey and I am here to enjoy the adventure!

Well, I’m sure I’ve bored you enough, but if you are interested in learning more, give me a call and we’ll meet for cookies!
